Ultrasound Brief

We just got back from the ultrasound. Our surrogate is looking great. We were definitely impressed by her mobility. We will get the detailed report later, but this is what we can remember from looking across the ultrasound tech's shoulder.

Twin A:
Head down
Heart rate: 146 bpm
Weight 3 lbs 9 oz.

Twin B:
Head up
Heart rate: 133 bpm
Weight: 2 lbs 12 oz.

Stay tuned for pictures and more details.

Everything is healthy and normal, and the doctor couldn't be more pleased. I will have to consult Dr. Google to see how normal it is to have twin A stealing all of twin B's food though.

  1. The growth in our twin pregnancy was fairly steady until around 30 weeks when the growth slowed dramatically and one twin became larger than the other. I think this is normal for twins and is a function of geography and real estate. Whichever twin is in a better spot may have slightly more room to grow. Anyway, glad to see all is on plan!!! Hope they stay put for another 6 weeks or so. Best wishes.

  2. We have the same thing happening with our twins. One measuring bigger than the other and we are at the same stage as you. Here is to another 6 weeks of growth!
