The Big 3-0

Tonight at midnight I start a new decade. I've been feeling indifferent about turning thirty. I have a great husband, two wonderful children, amazing friends, a beautiful home, I am happy, and I am healthy. What more could anyone want?

I remember when I thought thirty was ancient, the good news it doesn't hurt as bad as I envisioned.

  2. Happy birthday! I agree, as one has achieved the plans so long and has the "grown-up-points" one wants to have before 30, it's totally OK to leave the 20-ies and look forward to a great new decade :)

  3. Happy Birthday to you! I remember being 18 and going to a 30th thinking all the people there were SO OLD! When I turned 30 I didn't feel any different at all. In fact I don't feel 38 either. Crazy how time flies by so fast. Enjoy your day.

  4. Happy birthday, Chad. There will be no jokes inserted here about 30 being very, very young (it's all relative, of course). And to think you have SO MUCH at such a young age!!! That's just wonderful. Have a nice decade...here comes 40! :-)
